About Shri Zarna Ma

Shri Zarna Ma, a devout and inspiring spiritual figure, was born to Jaymati Ben and Mansukh Bhai Ambashankar Trivedi, originally from Vallbhipur, Gujarat. She has lived in Bhavnagar for a significant part of her life. From an early age, Shri Zarna Ma showed a deep inclination towards prabhubhakti (devotion to the Divine). Despite challenging economic conditions, her unwavering faith and intense devotion to the Almighty became the foundation of her spiritual journey.

The Turning Point

After completing her SSC education, Shri Zarna Ma dedicated herself entirely to a life of spirituality. In 1973, a life-changing incident occurred when, on her way back from the temple, she was handed a photograph by a stranger. Unaware of the person in the image, she accepted the photograph as a divine sign and later recognized it to be Shri Mataji of Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry. This profound moment marked the beginning of her spiritual connection with Shri Mataji, whom she embraced as her Guru.

Shortly after, Shri Zarna Ma began receiving letters of guidance from Pujya Bansidhar Dadaji, deepening her spiritual journey. Overcoming several challenges, she traveled alone to Pondicherry to seek Shri Mataji’s blessings. This journey was marked by her unwavering faith, as she did not know Hindi or English yet reached Pondicherry confidently. Her first stay at the ashram lasted two days, during which she immersed herself in Dhyan Sadhna (meditation practice), often losing awareness of worldly matters during her deep spiritual states.

Upon her return to Bhavnagar, Shri Zarna Ma resolved to establish a Dhyan Kendra (meditation center) inspired by the ashram’s spiritual practices. Her dream was to create a place where seekers could connect deeply with spirituality, experience divine joy, and grow closer to Shri Mataji’s teachings. This vision became the foundation for her ashram and spiritual work.

Divine Encounters

Shri Zarna Ma’s life has been enriched with mystical experiences. One significant moment occurred when she had a divine vision of Rannade Maa, her family’s Kuldevi (ancestral goddess), during her youth. Although she did not fully comprehend the experience at the time, it profoundly influenced her spiritual journey. Later, through intense austerities and Anusthan Bhakti Upasana (disciplined devotional practices), she strengthened her bond with Rannade Maa.

One of the most remarkable examples of her devotion was the establishment of Juwara (ceremonial offerings) in 1977 at Muval, a backward village. In her Anusthan, Shri Zarna Ma buried half her body in soil and abstained from food and water for 21 days. Her penance transformed the village, leading to the establishment of a temple dedicated to Shri Randal Mataji. What was once a neglected village became a vibrant spiritual center.

Establishment of the Ashram

Despite living in a rented house and facing ridicule from skeptics, Shri Zarna Ma persisted in her efforts to establish an ashram. Her unwavering faith and the support of her disciple, Mukesh Bhai, led to the eventual purchase of land for the ashram. This space now hosts a Panchdev Temple, Annakhetra (community dining hall), a Gaushala (cow shelter), and accommodations for spiritual seekers.

Shri Zarna Ma credits her spiritual children and unwavering devotion as the true sources of funding for these endeavors. She firmly believes that faith, truth, and devotion pave the way for all accomplishments.

Vision and Mission

Shri Zarna Ma dreams of creating a sanctuary where those burdened by life’s hardships can find solace. Her vision is of an ashram that serves as a place of healing and spiritual growth. Here, seekers would gather for worship, meditation, and Shri Zarna Ma’s darshan, experiencing profound peace and relief from their struggles.

She remains steadfast in her principle: “Satya Always Wins”—where there is truth, divine grace flows, and all obstacles are overcome. Shri Zarna Ma prays to her Gurudev, Shri Mataji, to make her vision a reality and to guide all those who come to her in search of spiritual enlightenment.

Legacy of Selfless Service

Shri Zarna Ma is widely regarded as an incarnation of Jagdamba, dedicating her life to alleviating the suffering of her devotees. Her tireless efforts to establish temples, guide seekers, and serve the community have made her a revered spiritual leader. Her humility and selflessness inspire countless people, and her presence brings divine peace and joy to those who seek her blessings.

As Shri Zarna Ma prays, “May the peace of your divine love rest upon all,” her life remains a beacon of hope and spirituality for all who encounter her.
